Terms & Conditions – ITB Tour

Effective Date: May 1, 2026

Welcome to ITB Tour. By accessing our website or booking any tour package with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any booking.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of ITB Tour, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting revisions on this page. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


2. Our Services

ITB Tour offers:

  • Inbound tours – Travel services within Indonesia (Bali, Komodo, Java, Lombok, and beyond)

  • Outbound tours – Travel services from Indonesia to international destinations

  • Tour packages, transportation, accommodation bookings, snorkeling trips, and related travel services

We act as:

  • Package seller for tours we organize directly

  • Booking agent for third-party services (flights, hotels, activities) provided by external suppliers


3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Confirmation

  • All bookings must be made through our official website or authorized representatives

  • A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit and issue a booking confirmation

  • By making a booking on behalf of others, you confirm you have authority to act for them

3.2 Payment Terms

  • Deposit: 50% of total package price is required to confirm your reservation

  • Balance payment: Must be settled no later than 30 days before tour departure

  • Late bookings: For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately

  • Payment methods: Bank transfer (IDR), credit card, or cash (IDR). All bank charges are the customer’s responsibility

3.3 Pricing

  • All prices are in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless stated otherwise

  • Prices are subject to change due to fuel costs, government taxes, park entrance fees, or currency fluctuations

  • Once your booking is confirmed, the agreed price will not change except for adjustments related to external mandatory fees


4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 Cancellation by Customer

Cancellation must be submitted in writing. Refunds are calculated based on receipt date:

4.2 Cancellation by ITB Tour

  • We reserve the right to cancel a tour if minimum participation is not met. Full refund will be provided, but we are not liable for any additional costs you may incur

  • We may cancel due to force majeure events (see Section 9)

4.3 No Refunds for Unused Services

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Unused portions of the tour

  • Early check-out or no-shows

  • Voluntary departure from the tour


5. Changes and Amendments

5.1 Changes by Customer

  • Amendment requests after booking are subject to availability and may incur fees

  • Transfer to another package within 30 days of departure is treated as cancellation

5.2 Changes by ITB Tour

  • Itineraries may change due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or operational requirements

  • We reserve the right to modify routes, schedules, or accommodations without prior notice when circumstances require

  • Changes will be communicated as soon as possible, and alternatives of similar standard will be arranged


6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide complete and accurate information for all bookings. We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect information you provide.

6.2 Travel Documents

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring passports, visas, and permits are valid (minimum 6 months validity)

  • We are not liable if immigration authorities deny entry

  • For outbound tours, you must check all entry requirements for your destination

6.3 Health and Insurance

  • Travel insurance is mandatory. We strongly recommend comprehensive coverage for:

    • Medical expenses and emergency evacuation

    • Trip cancellation and interruption

    • Lost baggage and personal effects

    • Search and rescue (for adventure tours)

  • You must inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements before departure

  • You are responsible for meeting health requirements and obtaining recommended vaccinations

6.4 Conduct

  • You agree to follow all safety instructions from guides and crew

  • You must respect local laws, customs, and regulations

  • We reserve the right to remove any guest whose behavior jeopardizes safety or disrupts others, without refund


7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indonesian law:

7.1 Third-Party Services

ITB Tour acts as intermediary for airlines, hotels, and other providers. We are not liable for:

  • Acts, omissions, or defaults of third-party suppliers

  • Flight cancellations, delays, or schedule changes

  • Overbooking or quality issues with accommodations

7.2 Force Majeure

We are not liable for any loss, injury, delay, or damage caused by events beyond our control including:

  • Natural disasters, adverse weather conditions

  • Government regulations, political unrest

  • Strikes, terrorism, war

  • Pandemic or epidemic

  • Technical problems with transportation

7.3 Personal Injury

We are not liable for injury, illness, or death unless directly caused by our gross negligence. Adventure activities involve inherent risks—you participate at your own risk.

7.4 Property

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.


8. Travel Documents and Visa

8.1 Passport and Visas

  • Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from entry date

  • Visa requirements vary by nationality—check with Indonesian immigration (evisa.imigrasi.go.id)

  • For outbound tours, verify destination visa requirements well in advance

8.2 Visa Assistance

We may provide guidance on visa processes but are not responsible for approval or delays.


9. Force Majeure

Force majeure includes any event beyond our reasonable control: war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather, government action, industrial dispute, nuclear disaster, epidemic, or technical failure.

If force majeure occurs:

  • We may cancel or change arrangements without liability

  • Refunds are limited to recoverable amounts from suppliers

  • No compensation for additional costs you incur


10. Special Provisions for Different Tour Types

10.1 Adventure Tours (Komodo, Snorkeling, Trekking)

  • Remote areas may have limited facilities, medical access, and communication

  • Itineraries are weather-dependent and may change spontaneously

  • You must be physically and mentally prepared for challenges

  • Alcohol: On certain remote tours, alcohol consumption may be prohibited for safety and cultural respect

10.2 Wellness Tours

  • Inform us of any health conditions or restrictions

  • Follow all instructor guidelines during activities

10.3 Outbound Tours

  • You are subject to destination country laws and supplier terms

  • Check travel advisories and entry requirements regularly


11. Intellectual Property

All content on the ITB Tour website—including text, photos, logos, and design—is our property or licensed to us and protected by copyright law. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

By participating in tours, you grant us the right to use photos or videos taken during your tour for marketing purposes, unless you notify us otherwise in writing.


12. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and use your personal information solely to fulfill your travel arrangements and improve our services. This may include sharing necessary information with:

  • Airlines, hotels, and activity providers

  • Immigration authorities

  • Payment processors

13. Governing Law and Disputes

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through negotiation

  • If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia

13.3 Time Limit for Claims

Any claim must be brought within one year of the incident giving rise to the claim.
